The Ohio Chapter of MPI (MPIOH) is an integral part of a worldwide association of 22,000 members in 60 countries. The Ohio Chapter has approximately 300 members, consisting of planner, supplier and student members (56% of MPI Ohio Chapter members are meeting planners and 3% of our members are students). Our Chapter is dedicated to the advancement of the meeting profession by providing excellent educational opportunities, networking and as a worldwide resource for information.

Your sponsorship assists the chapter with providing successful educational and networking events that our members need and want.  We meet nine times a year on the third Wednesday of the month for educational lunch meetings featuring nationally known speakers. In addition MPIOH provides REACH (Regional Education and Conversation Hour) programs that are in various cities throughout Ohio and are designed to be shorter less formal education forums to give all of our members an opportunity to network and obtain continuing education. We also hold an annual MidAmerica Education Conference together with the Indiana and Kentucky Blue Grass chapters of MPI. We offer many wonderful opportunities to work with your colleagues in the industry, create valuable partnerships and to be a leader in the meetings industry. IMPORTANT NOTES FOR SPONSORS

Any facility used for housing, meeting and/or special functions must be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations.

The levels of sponsorship are cumulative for one year based on the MPI Ohio chapter fiscal year of July 1-June 30. Entitlements and sponsor levels are subject to change without notice Please visit www.mpioh.org for current benefits and partner levels.

You are considered a sponsor if you provide preferential pricing or concessions (such as complimentary meeting space or complimentary food and beverage) to MPIOH. The value of the services not included in the prices paid by MPIOH is used to calculate your sponsor level.

SPONSOR PRESENTATIONS: Maximum of two presentations per event, one of which will be the host facilities. Must be scheduled through the Education Committee to avoid conflict of interest.

LOGOS: To receive this benefit, the sponsor must have submitted all required logos and proper links as specified by MPIOH by the deadline given as outlined in the Sponsorship Agreement Form. 

Liability claims arising from context of ads (text, representation, and illustration) are assumed by advertisers and advertising agencies. MPIOH reserves right of refusal of any advertising not in keeping with MPI's standards. Advertising that simulates editorial must have prior approval of MPIOH and must carry an "Advertisement" line at the top of each ad. MPI Ohio Chapter, Inc. reserves the right to reject any advertising that it deems to be detrimental to its interests or inconsistent with publication standards.

Complimentary educational program tickets offered as entitlement to sponsors must be redeemed during fiscal year of sponsorship. Not valid for MAC. Entitlements are subject to change.

MPIOH reserves the right to combine prize/auction item donations to create packages.

 

 

ANNUAL FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Four annual financially-supported sponsor levels offer valuable and continuing brand exposure to our influential membership including high-profile recognition through chapter communications, networking and educational events.  Cash sponsorships are an invaluable way to provide and partner in the programming needs and requirements of one or a few committees and/or chapter events.  Cash sponsorships are valued at 100% of the donated value and benefit kits are sent out upon receipt and countersignature of the clients signed Sponsorship Committment Ageement.

MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP

With an average attendance of 50-100 participants, sponsoring a Monthly Educational Program provides you with an effective opportunity to showcase your property, product or service and increase your visibility with Ohio-based planners!  The Monthly Educational Programs are presented by industry experts and include a wide variety of relevent and engaging topics.  These programs also qualify for Continuing Educational Unit's (CEU) which attendees can use for certifications and re-certification purposes.

  • Three-minute commercial at podium at chapter meeting on your property

AS AN MPIOH SPONSOR HOST, YOUR COMPANY WILL PROVIDE TO MPIOH:

  • Complimentary meeting space, screen and LCD projector for a board meeting for 17 people.  Am or PM meeting time to be arranged based  upon the needs of the MPIOH Board for that meeting.  Complimentary Hi-speed internet access if needed.
  • Complimentary breakfast or afternoon break, as applicable, for board meeting
  • Complimentary meeting space to accommodate up to 100 attendees from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.  Room set-up to meet individual monthly meeting specs to include podium and staging and complimentary Hi-speed internet access if needed
  • Complimentary separate reception and registration area (including power strip) before the program
  • Complimentary lunch for up to 100 people; should attendance exceed 100 people, MPIOH will pay $10/meal (inclusive) if each additional lunch is required.  Price to be discussed and determined prior to Chef's menu selection.
  • Complimentary Audio Visual equipment (needs based on program)
  • Up to 15 complimentary overnight rooms; however, on average on 5-7 rooms are used
  • Discounted parking rate if applicable

REACH PROGRAM SPONSOR HOST

AS AN MPIOH SPONSOR HOST, YOUR COMPANY WILL RECEIVE:

  • Banner ad and hyperlink to your website from the www.mpioh.org Calendar of Events page during the month of the event and then listed for 12 months under past sponsor section of the website
  • Three-minute commercial at podium at REACH meeting on your property
  • Logo and Host name on the event invitation (including e-mail invitations) sent to all members (multiple invitations are sent via e-mail).  Invitation will have a special section for meeting sponsors highlighting the property (copy provided by property).
  • The opportunity to place promotional materials at place setting at the event
  • Listing in the Annual Recognition Program
  • Two (2) complimentary registrations to REACH meeting at your property

AS AN MPIOH SPONSOR HOST, YOUR COMPANY WILL PROVIDE TO MPIOH:

  • Complimentary meeting space to accommodate up to 50 attendees from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.  Room set-up to meet individual REACH meeting specs to include podium and complimentary Hi-speed internet access if needed
  • Complimentary Continental Breakfast for the attendees; should attendance exceed 50 people, MPIOH will pay for breakfasts if required.  Price to be discussed and determined prior to Chef's menu selection.
  • Up to two (2) complimentary overnight rooms
  • Complimentary Audio Visual equipment (needs based on program)

Display Advertisements should be submitted in the following format:

  • PC files are acceptable: Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe 
    Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat PDF
  • In PDF files, all images saved to 300 dpi (originial format should be 300 dpi); No compression or color management; All fonts embedded
  • All colors converted to CMYK
  • All vector (line) art CMYK
  • Photos and raster (bitmap) art 300 dpi grayscale or CMYK or two color 
    duotones (will not guarantee quality of duotones we have not approved)
  • All fonts (type 1 version fonts only) included along with file or embedded within the document
  • A printed version must be furnished to reference file color and construction 
    accuracy upon translation.  We cannot guarantee accurate reproduction of the files if any of these specs are not adhered to.
