How Much Does It Cost?

New Member

-          $375.00 for a full year for Planner Members (Corporate Meeting Professional, Association/Non Profit Meeting Professional, Government Meeting Professional, Meeting Management Professional)

-          $500.00 for a full year for Supplier Members

-          Dues can be split into installments, if needed

 

Renewal

-          $325.00 for a full year for Planner Members

-          $450.00 for a full year for Supplier Members

 

Student Membership

-          $40.00 for a full year

-          Must show proof of enrollment: Current course schedule, copy of tuition receipt, letter from college or university

-          Can renew at the student rate of $40.00 several times but must show proof of enrollment before renewal is processed

 

Student-In-Transition

-          For student members who have recently graduated with a degree from an accredited college/university

-          Renew first year at $75.00, second year at $150.00, third year at $250.00, before renewing at $325.00 in fourth year

-          Must be processed manually by member care coordinator rather than online (subscription dates usually need to be updated)

 

Faculty Membership

-          $195.00 for a full year

-          If possible, we obtain proof. School course schedule with teacher name, etc.

-          Can renew at the rate of $195.00 as many times as needed

 

Unemployment Assistance Program

-          Can extend membership for six months from end date at no cost. Separate form to fill out.

-          If still unemployed after six months, can renew for another six months at $99.00.

-          $99.00 extension can be used twice.

-          For auditing purposes, we attempt to get proof of unemployment (letter/notification, insurance, etc.)

-          Only used for renewals, not new member

 

Transfer of Membership

-          Current member AND new member have to read and sign the Transfer Policy

-          New member must submit new member application, transfer release form, and $100.00 transfer fee for processing

-          Transfer of membership can only be used one time per member

-          Membership cannot be transferred to current MPI member

-          We have added a requirement on the transfer form for the transferring member to give us a phone number for us to call and verify transfer.  

 

Complimentary Limited Membership – must be approved by Member Care

-          Used when company is unable to contact former employee to transfer a membership

-          New member can fill out "Limited Membership Form"

-          Three months at no cost

 

Referral Program

-          If a current member refers a new member, the new member can list the member on their application for referring them.

-          $25 credit for every member referred

-          New member HAS to list the member's name on the application

 

Omni Rewards

-          Meeting planners can now be rewarded with $500 towards a meetings/travel industry organization when booking a meeting at any Omni Hotel.

-          Member can contact Member Care to exchange vouchers

 

Starwood Points

-          Starwood Hotels and Resorts offers MPI gift certificates through its Starpoints. Preferred planners are automatically enrolled as preferred guests and earn one Starpoint per every $3 spent on Starwood Property. Members can redeem points for a $100 MPI gift certificate, valid for conference registration, membership dues or book purchases.

-          Members can earn Starpoints by contacting MemberCare to exchange vouchers
