Purpose

To enhance the overall quality and awareness of the meetings industry by ensuring the professional development and growth of its membership through targeted educational programs and networking opportunities.

Meeting Professionals International and the Meeting Professionals International Ohio Chapter are recognized as the leader in the meetings industry in delivering timely and useful educational programs.

Meetings and Activities

  • Educational Luncheons: Third Wednesday of every month throughout Ohio
  • REACH Meetings: Held monthly throughout Ohio
  • Mid-America Education Conference: Held annually
  • North America Professional Education Conference: Held annually
  • World Education Conference: Held annually

Qualifications for Student Membership

  1. Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program with emphasis in the meetings, hospitality, events or tourism industries.
  2. Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) semester credit hours or equivalent quarter credit hours either undergraduate or graduate programs unless the academic institution defines it otherwise.
  3. Applicant must submit to MPI, with this completed application, proof of enrollment in academic courses prior to membership acceptance. (Proof of enrollment may be a current semester transcript or courses/credit hours defined on school letterhead and signature of authorized school representative)
